Our challenge series medals are designed to be collected. Each series contains multiple designs on a single theme, so you can start with the one you like most and build the set out over time.

How series challenges work
- Choose the design you want from the series.
- Choose your activity and your distance, exactly as with any other challenge.
- Complete the distance at your own pace.
- Claim your medal, then come back for the next design in the set.
Why collecting works as motivation
A single medal is an achievement. A gap in a set is an itch. Collectors consistently report that having an incomplete series on the wall gets them out of the door on days when nothing else would, which is a slightly ridiculous but entirely real phenomenon.
Series are produced in batches
Each design requires its own steel die, so series are cast in limited runs rather than made to order. When a series retires it does not usually come back, which is worth bearing in mind if you are three medals into a set of twelve.
Display them properly
Once you are several deep, a medal hanger beats a drawer. See the Hall of Fame for people who have completed full sets.
